Bottom Turn Drop Knee Hoodie

The hoodie. Black cotton, printed before it is cut, with the bottom turn drop knee on the back.

A surfer in a t-shirt and trunks at the bottom of the wave, back knee dropped low, both arms out, loading the rail to swing the longboard back up the face. It's one of four surf-pose drawings in this line, each one a different moment on a longboard.

On the front, only our name in yellow, small over the chest. Turn around and the full drawing is there, low across the back. The blank is white cotton. We print the whole thing black before it is cut and sewn, which is the only way to get an all-over print on cotton at all.

HONESTLY
This hoodie is not organic. No certified organic blank can be printed before it is sewn. The cotton here is conventional, with 5% elastane, and there is no GOTS or OEKO-TEX behind it. We would rather say that plainly than hide it in a footnote. The black is printed, not dyed, so the inside stays white, the edges of the seams can show a little white, and the black will soften a touch over many washes. It is cut and sewn by hand after printing, so the exact spot where the drawing lands moves a little from hoodie to hoodie. And it is cotton, so it can shrink slightly. Wash it cold.
